I work in a laser lab and the laser is fairly high power and ends up ionizing the air. Along with the extremely low humidity, this causes constant electric shocks when you touch anything at all. I can’t help but get turned on from it.

The lab is dark and cramped and I work with mostly men so we are always just brushing up against each other and that adds a level of tension, but I really love the shocks. While the guys tend to take precautions to avoid them, I have been wearing wool sweaters and trying to accumulate charge to get the biggest shock I can. I even try to shock my stomach by leaning on the metallic tables. Sometimes the shocks are loud and everyone looks at me but that just turns me on more. I don’t know how much longer before they figure it out!
