Couchsurf was the perfect opportunity to have strangers from far away, young and crazy, over at our place.

Ofc during the Covid crisis we stopped having guests all together but, as we tried to log in into our Couchsurf account today, we where made aware that couchsurf is no longer free.

This is really annoying. I can't even see my profile or get my data.
The contacts are gone and the reviews are gone. They where so well written and always made me smile. They didn't tell but if you knew... the words just got another meaning. How welcoming we where, how I was always available to help even if it was hard being in a new country.

All this is gone. Why the fuck do I have to pay to offer a service for free?
I'd understand if travelers had to pay a small fee but I am not paying 2€ a moth for the chance to get my holes stuffed.
