My wife and I had been planning our honeymoon for months—a dream trip to the U.S., just the two of us, ready to explore, relax, and celebrate our new life together. Everything started out exactly as we imagined: days spent exploring, romantic dinners, and warm nights by the ocean.

But then we met them.

It was late, the beach was quiet except for the sound of the waves. We had wandered away from the crowded areas, just enjoying the moment, when we noticed a small group further down the shore.
