I was on business travels last week. 

A younger colleague and I sat in the hotel bar talking after a long day of inspections and risk workshops. We had started out as more than just me and her sitting and talking, but eventually it was just the two of us left. And our talk got a bit flirtatious. She is attractive, and though a bit thick, very nicely shaped. 

I had a few ideas about making a move to invite her to my room, but as we talked she mentioned that she and her partner were trying to get pregnant. Well that was like getting a cold bucket of water dumped on my head, and other places, and I congratulated her. I admitted I didn’t know she was in a relationship, and hoped that I hadn’t offended her. She said that both she and her girlfriend wanted to get pregnant by the same man, and to be as close together as they could get it. They wanted the children to be siblings in every way, more than by adopting or by just having two moms with only one being biological. After she told me this she didn’t look up at me for a bit and seemed embarrassed. It took my alcohol buzzed mind a few moments longer than I like to admit to get her meaning. I was a bit taken back. She told me that I didnæt need to be involved any more that just getting both her and her partner impregnated, but that they both understood if I’d want to be involved in some way.

I must have looked like an idiot because she seemed really upset and flustered. I stopped her and told her I just need to be a bit more sober before I answered, but asked her why me? I’d never met her partner before. She laughed and explained that I had. She had worked with me a few years before as a subcontractor, it was actually how they had met. Both women had a good opinion of me and she told me that her partner had actually suggested me first.

My colleague then told me she was a bit nervous, while her partner was bi and had been with men before, she had never been with a man. She’d never wanted to until they had started talking about having kids together. Now with the possibility she felt like she needed practice. I was sobering pretty quickly at this point but so I knew where she was going. I told her anything she did she need her partners permission to do. She laughed and said that was already decided as well, she just had known how to ask me. 

We ended up going to her room. Since we were both a bit drunk still, I made her vid-call her partner. We all talked, I told her I was on board, she told me the limits she had for us and me, we all agreed. Then she watched as I took my colleague from behind so they could watch each other.

We didn’t actually sleep at all that nigh and the next day we caught our flights home. My colleague invited me to their place if I wanted to stay over with them a few more nights and I happily accepted. So far no one is pregnant, but they don’t seem to mind much, and I am hoping it will take a bit longer as well.
