My friends dragged me to a club even though I wasn’t really in the mood. I was nursing a drink at the bar when I saw him. Tall, dark hair, and the kind of confidence that made it impossible not to stare.

He noticed me too, and before I knew it, he was standing next to me, asking what I was drinking. We talked, we laughed, and by the time he asked if I wanted to get out of there, I was already nodding.
