My GF and I have had an open relationship for the last few months and I can honestly say it’s been fantastic. We communicate better, we never had sex without the other partner and honestly feels like our needs have been met.

We setup rules like any open relationship and one of them was we would always say if we were interested and we would never have sex or initiate anything without the other person knowing. We have both held up our end of the rules but she started new job a few months ago and she travels for work, not often but 6 days a month.

She has not said anything about liking anyone in the buildings she works but she mentions one of the managers in the building a lot and has said multiple times how funny he is and how she likes him the best professionally out of all the managers because he’s level headed and understanding of his team. She said a few days ago that he enjoys the outdoors just like we do and that we are taking him on a hike in a few months when he visits a local store for training.

Now I haven’t really thought much of it until she said we would take him hiking and that seemed strange because she’s usually very good as separating work and personal life and they don’t mix for her at all. This seems like a mix. I haven’t gone as far as to check her phone but she tells me how he calls and the calls last an hour or two and she seems to stay at his store for a long time on the days she does travel.

I know I should say something but I’m also worried to find out. Sure an open relationship means we can have sex with anyone but it’s always been with a set of rules and i don’t think I’m a cuck since I always want to participate and not just watch.

Also I could just be projecting since I cheated on her, I’m a bad person. Maybe she has the same exhilaration. Idk but feels good to talk about it and maybe make up my mind on whether to ask or not.
