A few years ago, maybe when I was 22-23, I was left alone for a week as my Mum was on holiday.

I recall the week I was left alone was very warm, even at about 10 at night, and a heatwave was declared.

I couldn’t sleep so one night I decided to go for a late night walk to build up a sweat before having a shower and going to bed.

I wore a bikini top, denim short shorts and flip flops and went for a walk to get a sweat on.

I was a slimmer woman back then and late 20s weight gain hasn’t yet hit me so I didn’t have a larger chest, bigger butt and a little belly.

After an hour long walk I returned home and showered and went to bed.

In the morning, I found an anonymous note on my door mat that was handwritten and read ‘wear more clothes for your late night walk next time’.

I was shocked, somebody had seen me who knew where I live.

Calling their bluff I did the same thing that night and went for a walk in a tank top and no bra and booty shorts.

Again, a note appeared that read ‘Better but you’re still on show too much, do it again and I tell your parents’.

On night 3 I went for a walk with some capri shorts on and a sports bra and again got a note the next day reading ‘better… still a bit revealing though’.

The next night was a thunderstorm so I didn’t bother with a walk and the night after my Mum returned from her holiday.

To this day I’ve no idea who wrote the notes. I walked past so many houses I can’t begin to imagine who it was.
