Today is a hot weekend day and I had just finished up with one of my big work projects so I was feeling pretty good and wanted to spend some time in the backyard. My garden is also producing a ton of vegetables so I went out to harvest some cucumbers and beans and pick pears and mulberries before the sun got too high. It was already too hot to wear a lot of clothes so I went out in only a bikini bottom, a tiny cut-off shirt that shows a lot of underboob when I lift my arms, and flip flops, with my hair up in a ponytail so that my neck wouldn’t get too sweaty. As soon as I got out back I saw one of the neighbor boys, the tall White one named Aaron. He was talking on the phone and didn’t notice me at first but a minute later he turned around, stopped whatever he was saying to whoever he was talking to, and stared at me where I was under the mulberry tree. Aaron had just finished his phone call (to his mother, it turns out) so I got to talk to both of them. I asked them if they like fresh fruit and vegetables. Before I went inside I asked them if they wanted to make a little extra cash by helping me with some cleaning and repairs around the house. They said they’d love to and I winked and said I’m sure they would, so they should come by on Tuesday morning and I can show them what needs done, and that they can tell their roommate Alex as well.
