This happened 3 months ago but its been burning inside me and I just wanted to share it.

Harvey is a man in his 40s, has a gut but a very handsome face and broad shoulders. Think of Tony Soprano with a set of hair.

He was recently divorced and I was dealing with my own stuff when we started hooking up. Nothing serious and it was agreed it'd be casual. But one morning at his place I went a little extra with cooking Breakfast.

I was just feeling affectionate and his apartment is close enough to a store so I went to buy the ingredients I needed to make chocholate cupcakes with filling people always compliment me on.

So while he was in his bedroom catching up with some work stuff in his laptop, I walked in my underwear with a plate of scrambled eggs with sausage and six adorable little chocolate cupcakes.

He instantly caught on to the vibe I was putting out and said I shouldn't get carried away and that this will never be more than what it is. Which was basically weekend dinners that end in sex.

I felt sad sure but what was fucking my mind was that he was lecturing me on keeping things casual while he wen town on those cupcakes. Devouring them like animal, saying they were delicious while telling me he sees me as nothing more than his weekend stress relief.

I made those with so much love and something about the guy I made them for enjoying them while breaking my heart really fucked with my head. I found it demeaning and hot at the same time.

Not sure how to really explain it, just that it stayed with me and I still think about it.
