One of my oldest friends separated from her husband around 14 months and finalized the process in April. In that time she’s lost an amazing 40 pounds and over the last month and a half has been the most confident I’ve seen her in years.

After several months of dating and growing frustrated with the local bachelors we went to dinner last week. I told her then that she needed to shake the dust off and to either bumble a few younger guys or just take my hubby for a whirl. I even facetimed hubby in the moment and asked if he’d have reservations and he said none.

Well I pushed her the rest of the week and weekend to make a decision and late last night she asked if it was ok to text hubby. To shorten the story, yesterday was a wfh day for both of them so he offered to make her lunch.

Well in the afternoon I got home and she was still here!! I come in and they’re rocking the bed upstairs so I go take a peak and she’s riding him!!

I just came downstairs, made us all margaritas… then I headed back upstairs!!
