On my previous post I told of a student who would do āanythingā for a better grade but my sub at the time ruined that by lifting her head from under my desk and claiming that Iām already handled.
This student didnāt like that answer and as exams approached, and the weather warmed up a bit, she started to sit in the front row. I figured she was trying to pay better attention since I didnāt recognize her as ever participating in class before (large lecture hall).
Then I realized what she was doing. She was wearing short skirts with no panties on, and constantly shift her leg position to reveal what was going on from the front row. Iāll admit it was a bit distracting but she hasnāt earned her grade, so I acknowledged her actions by making subtle hidden comments in my lecture about the need to be āvulnerableā and āopenā to writing what they are passionate about (creative lit was the course).
I started moving around the lecture hall as I spoke and ended up right in front of them where they were sitting at waist height, and I made the comment to the class about the final assignment that regardless of what they thought would get them a good grade, they needed to follow the rubric.
She crossed her legs and I swear I could see steam come out of her ears.
