We need you to be our next moderator!

Hi everyone,

With the amount of spam, stolen stories, repeat posts and OF bots overrunning our 3 person team, it's high time we added a few more mods to help us with the subreddit.

Before I begin, to the experienced mods - I promise, our mod queue is cleared day to day and modmails are all replied. If you join, you won't have to deal with any backlog.

We currently have two lads and a lady on our mod team and we would like to maintain a favourable gender ratio of women on the team, so we implore all females that might be interested in joining, to send a modmail even if inexperienced as a mod. It helps us when male perspectives are challenged by female perspectives and we'd want to keep that going further.

What are we looking in the preferred candidates:

1) You have held a reddit account for more than a year.

2) Of course, goes without saying, that we are not interested in any accounts that are using reddit to make profit/sell on reddit in some way.

3) That your post history or interests more or less align with our rules. As an example - if you post on incest subreddits - we would not consider you a favourable candidate.

4) You have made some comments or posts on this subreddit in the past and thus understand what our subreddit is about.

5) This is only for people who are 18 and that must be evident with their post and comment history.

The preferences might be negotiable, but broadly that's what we will be looking for.

Please send us a modmail and tell us why you are interested in being a moderator for this subreddit and how you can help. Past mod experience will be favoured. Coding experience will be an added plus to help with the automod.

Any amount of time you can spare will be enough. If you can give us 15 minutes daily that's more than enough. You don't have to be on daily as well. We sometimes vanish for months when things happen in real life that require us to forget Reddit.

You will be onboarded on a provisional basis if you don't have any past experience and if you feel like continuing, we can give you full access later on. For any other queries please feel free to ask in the comments. We will be happy to answer.
