Something I've been curious about lately, not sure if the mods or admin could satiate my curiosity. I've always paid attention to the "online" number when visiting this sub- partly because I want to post my own confessions during busy times for more visibility and engagement.

So when I started paying mind to this number, maybe about a year ago, I would say it's mostly been around 3k people online at a given time, 5k maybe even pushing 6k when it's really busy.

Lately, however, it's far far lower. Right now, for instance, 9AM where I am, it's showing 632 users online, whereas 6 months ago that definitely would have been at least 2-3k.

Just curious if the change is legitimate, is this sub losing that much viewership? Or have the mods been curtailing all the spam accounts? It doesn't seem like there is much of a noticeable change in frequency of posts- they still seem to be coming in one every few minutes when you sort by new.

Like I said- just a long time slutty confessor and reader that's curious .
