I know there’s no rule against this on this sub, but there are people who post the same exact idea or picture without scrolling through recent posts to see if it’s already being talked about.

Like, there is already a discussion going about the brokeback mountain calendar pic, but 3 other people will post the exact same picture in a brand-new, separate thread being like “OMG1!!”. Or someone posts about a specific thing mentioned on the most recent podcast episode, and 10 other people will create new posts talking about the same thing instead of just commenting on the OP!!

it’s getting really annoying to see my feed flooded with copycat posts from this sub. let’s just check the sub before posting to see if anyone else started a thread? 🩷 or nah….?
