Last night I had sleep paralysis and for a split second saw a child sitting on the edge of my bed, looking down at me, and possibly holding my hand. A second later I “woke up” and they were gone, but they looked so real I genuinely thought they were there for a solid minute. I’m still a bit shook right now lmao.
Some other noteworthy sleep paralysis hallucinations I’ve had were:
-hallucinating that my roommate was looking down at me, cocking her head, and saying something along the lines of “can’t move, huh?” (I woke up and realized she was still asleep on the other side of the room)
-another time I had some sort of tactile hallucination where it felt like a pair of hands were firmly clamped around my neck and trying to strangle me. Probably the scariest experience I’ve had thus far.
-lastly, I once saw my friend standing near the door to my room and I think I heard myself yelling at them to either help me or leave (I didn’t actually yell though because paralysis). In hindsight this was more amusing than anything and now we joke about them being my sleep paralysis demon lmao
