This happened to me about 7 years ago or so. So I’m sure it had to do with stress I was 18 just moved to Florida and was staying with my aunt. The move was pretty sudden and unexpected my life track was set to go a completely different direction but due to me getting arrested and the police trying to make me a snitch/ informant I moved to Florida literally on my 18th birthday (all over weed)…. So at this point in my life I felt pretty lost and alone in a new place where I didn’t know anyone my own age didn’t have friends yet etc. one night while sleeping in my aunts guest room all of a sudden I hear my aunts voice from outside the room the lights are off and she sounds stressed out calling my name . For some reason I can barely lift my head and notice I’m having a hard time even calling out to her the lights are off in the room but I can clearly see the door only 2-3 feet away from me . The door was cracked and now my aunts voice is closer to it almost right outside the door but the voice has slow morphed into a completely different voice deeper and sort of joke like but sinister . In my head I still think it’s her and maybe she’s having a stroke or something. All of a sudden the door flys open and I see a tiny shadow dart then all of a sudden right in my face is this tiny little demonic looking gnome marking crazy nosies in my face . I eventually fly up right in bed and think omg that was a bad dream I turn to the bed side table to turn the light on as I get it on the door flys open again and it’s right back in my face . I then actually wake up cover in sweat freaking out . I turn on the tv and stay up almost all night because I’m scared to sleep . Only time I woke up in a dream to be still in a dream.
