Hey everyone!
I'm brand new to this sub and its so great to see online communities for this sport. I've been a casual slackliner for the last couple of years and I've gotten fairly decent at it which has really primed my interest in taking my skills to the next level. Highlining has been a dream of mine for years and it's a goal I'd love the opportunity to pursue but, seeing as I've only been working with a 60' long, 2" trickline all this while, its obvious that I lack the gear and rigging experience I need in order to see it through.
Though I have the motivation, balance, and willingness to learn, I'm unable to get out there and try to highline all on my own; that's is why I've come to this community. Are there are any groups out there (native to California) that might be willing to welcome a newbie to one of their sessions so he can try his best to learn the ropes?
