Civilization crashes at Whiterun - Battleborn Farm

Post Body

Hello, as title, I have made a new character unticked all of my mods because I thought I had some sort of conflict.

Civilization Special Edition with Anniversary Upgrade and nothing else except USSEP, JK’s Skyrim AiO (WillohtheWhisp) and JaySerpa quest bundle (Basspainter implies it’s needed or intended).

Tried with and without USSEP patch, still crashes at Battleborn Farm, and when I head towards the direction of the main gate too, past the Brewery.

Have tried moving things up and down below and above. There’s obviously some broken mesh or texture.

Game does NOT crash with Civilization disabled, so it is definitely the culprit.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Okay, I want to thank our lord and saviour Basspainter himself for answering me; I can now confirm, you MUST have the Skyland AIO retexture if you’re crashing where Civ loads in those new bridges around Whiterun because the textures on their steps can cause a crash. My testing has found that Skyland Towns and Cities is not enough (something to do with those step textures, they’re not all included).

So! Thank you very much for the advice. And my feedback from this is the following; I think it would help a lot of people downloading the Civ mods to know this. Some might benefit from a clear warning that they may experience crashes if not using a 1K texture replacer, with Skyland AIO recommended by Basspainter (being what he uses himself).
