I went in just thinking of a cold guy build, but in time I turned to crafting skill potential and made him less human, more force of nature(not necessary for build, and in fact would not recommend because now he just feels invincible
Backstory I couldn't come up with much, so if you'd like to build your own backstory, you may, but gameplay wise, I chose to proceed through thieves guild with chillrend being my end goal for that faction. I did dark brotherhood, but it didn't feel right for the character. Did college of winterhold just for access to different schools merchants, and decided if I did the civil war, he would choose stormcloak because what's more fitting of the wilds of Skyrim than blistering cold. I chose mixed armor(Nordic carved boots and gloves, yngols helm, the stahlrim light chest, and Nordic ring and necklace). My weapons(chillrend and Sol's bane) are both very frost /stamina themed, and my spells are primarily frost destruction spells and conjure frost atronach. Main spell branches used are one handed, destruction, conjuration, smithing, and enchanting, with restoration as a support only if necessary. Main combat is to summon frost atronach at the start of battle, then dual wield for damage, using destruction for frost cloak or ranged enemies. He is a Nord vampire, and my next build I will be putting less into becoming an op frost god, and have more backstory like skypothesis builds.i mostly went with guardian stones for leveling, but at end game could recommend Lord stone or perhaps serpent stone(for freezing gusts)
Thanks, I wanted to start making genuine builds, but I didn't want to make a clone of fudgemuppet or skypothesis builds, so I got this guy, not perfect, but it came together well towards the end. Could definitely have don't without the smithing that pushed it over the edge into op, but I see that as a better negative than lack of real goals or backstory, since this build was more a challenge build than a real character

Yes, sorry I forgot to clarify, Sol's bane is a tempered stahlrim sword enchanted with frost damage and either damage stamina or absorb stamina
