I'm at the dz from 7am to 6pm, my instructors say "it's 100% sure you'll jump today" but then I wait 10h for nothing because there is apparently too much wind for my 1st jump. It's frustrating because everybody else is going even the tandems :( I asked for a refund and enrolled to another school/dz because I was going crazy, they said no problem. I start my 5th day in 3h.
Just wanted to ask if it's something normal ? Did you wait a lot at the dz before your very first jump ?
The guys at the first dz explained that I have to be patient for this sport... Also the 1st dz was trashy, it was so cold and we had to wait outside, the dz was SO messy and dirty it looked like an abandonned place for meth addicts. They talked about alcohol h24 and they would try to scare us with fake facts as jokes. Maybe it's normal for this community idk ?
1st dz was Yverdon in Switzerland Today I go to Bex also in Switzerland
Please reassure me 😂 If I don't jump by the end of the week I will hate this sport
Edit : why so many downvotes ? Sorry for being an impatient begginer I guess 😅
Edit 2 : Thank you for the kind comments giving me ideas of things to do at the dz ❤️
