Some confusion from a blind player about Special Attacks

SO I attempted to get into this game a while back, and I ran into this same issue then as well, but I wanted to give this game another shot before committing to purchasing Mortal Kombat when that comes out, so I was hoping you guys could perhaps give me some guidance?

I am curently going through some of the tutorials again, and I encountered a part of the tutorial for special attacks where the game simply said this through my screen reader:

"

Try quickly pressing {d} {db} {b} and then tapping {ak}

and I am not super sure what exactly this means? I know that some acronyms in the game stand for certain things like LP would be Light Punch, MP would be Medium Punch, F would be forward, etc etc, but I am failing to understand what the game means by AK? ALl that comes to mind would be aerial kick? But I can't imagine that is what the game is implying?

Thanks for any assistance you guys can provide! I am encountering a lot of these in this game, and I am not super sure if that is going to make the game unplayable for me, but some of these are just super confusing if that makes sense, especially when I can't see the visuals telling me which button is which, and I have to go by these descriptors as opposed to simply saying A Button, B Button, etc etc. I still don't know which buttons are for heavy and light punches, if that tells you anything, haha.

Thanks!
