Hello All,
Novice pixie wrangler. Bought me a broken 18V Li-Ion stick vacuum for $7, after determining fixing it properly for safe everyday use is beyond my skill-set (micro-controllers and capacitive touch buttons), I'm now using it as a learning experience. I bypassed all the magic electronics and got everything working, but "magic electronics" included the charging and battery protection circuits. Yes, I know Li-Ion batteries can be dangerous, no need to remind me, and I'm proceeding safely.
Question: Can I cannibalize one of my extra Dewalt 18V chargers to charge this battery? If not, is there a generic charger I could purchase for a reasonable cost?
Worst case it's trash and I've got some good samsung Li-Ion cells and salvaged 12V motors for future shenanigans.
