I went for a consultation today at my Dr's office (they have a seperate business/office for skin things such as laser, microneedling, varicose vein etc etc)
I went in for my very deep scar on my eyebrow that is over 15 years old. I was going in leaning towards microneedling but generally just getting informed on whether they think they can help and what would help.
They said they can probably get a 50% reduction in the scar which honestly would be life changing. They suggested ipixel laser and clearlift laser. They advised against microneedling because it's such a small area and they think laser would work better.
They gave me some info that basically said the ipixel laser is super simple in and out no healing really and that type of thing. Is that true? Surely it must have some healing or something? From what I understand they are trying to resurface the skin and promote some collagen production.
The clearlift laser information stated it would make a wound and healing is a but harder.
I'm mainly wondering about personal experiences with these lasers. It's right by my eye so I'm concerned about long term effects or long term redness and swelling
