My skin likes to be clear for a week and then go crazy another. I read a lot of people saying if you struggle with acne keep it simple with face wash and moisturiser, etc.
My skincare is this: AM: just wash w cold water Moisturiser: Vanicream Moisturising Cream Beauty of Joseon Sunscreen
PM: Face wash: Panoxyl 4% face wash or round lab dokdo cleanser (alternate every other night) Moisturiser: Vanicream Moisturising Cream
I drink a lot of water, haven’t worn makeup in weeks, eat very healthy and I change my pillowcases weekly wash my sheets ):
My acne is not painful or itchy. These were all angry closed comedones that I extracted but then I got a few actual round and raised pimples.
My boyfriend is coming to see me in two weeks and I really don’t want to look like this. Does anyone know what can help?
Sorry if any of this is redundant at this point, but here are a couple of suggestions:
lightly massage the PanOxyl onto your dry skin and let it sit for a few minutes before washing off. I use it every other morning and find that works well.
if you do start double cleansing (like a few folks suggested here), after you massage in your oil cleanser, wet your hands slightly and then massage it some more so it starts turning white and creamy. Then rinse it off and use your gel cleanser.
make sure you change your towel every other day, and change your pillow cases often
you might want to try a gel moisturizer. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but if you like K Beauty, I find the Dr. Ceuracle vegan kombucha gel cream really nice.
BoJ just released a lighter version of their sunscreen — I haven’t read any reviews for it yet but it might be worth looking into!
