Hi,
I’m a trans fem (on HRT) looking for a routine that accounts for the changes that HRT can do to the skin, whilst also acknowledging the limitations. I want to focus towards a female routine, but I understand that may not cover absolutely everything I need.
I have no real routine yet other than using Cervae moisturiser and Cetaphil lotion on my face when I remember. I try to moisturise at last once a day.
I rarely use body moisturisers and on occasion I use sanctuary spa exfoliating gel I think it is.
I wouldn’t say my skin is particularly sensitive however it’s rather soft.
I’m interested in both facial and body skin care. It may be important to note I do wear makeup fairly frequently, I have no real skin complaints and I’m 22 - so I may not need everything, but I do want to compliment the changes to my face & skin that HRT does.
I am as you’d expect trying to go for a feminine look, but I don’t think a skin care routine is going to effect how fem or masc I look, hair style and makeup plays a bigger role in that.
Products wise, I’m looking for something affordable and quality. I don’t want to pay say £30 for an exfoliating cream for my body, but at the same time I don’t expect a £3 one to have the best quality.
Hope that helps, if any more info is needed just ask.
