I have scoured the sub for recs for alcohol free sunscreens but the mega list is from 9 years ago and contains some products like EltaMD spf that make me break out, I think the zinc-based mineral sunscreens are a problem for my skin too. I am currently using Biore UV Watery Essence, as last year my skin seemed to tolerate it just fine but all of a sudden the new bottle this year is making me break out like crazy :( I have looked at La Roche Posay's sunscreens but they all seem to contain alcohol, even the "alcohol free" La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Sunscreen Spray Lotion - SPF 60 lists stearyl alcohol! I am about to go on vacation and really want to protect my skin without having a major breakout while I am there.
