Hello, beginner here! Wanting to incorporate some retinoids in my routine. I’m 22, so I’m going for a combo of wrinkle prevention and hoping to even out my facial texture a little bit. One thing about me is I have depression and like to keep things simple to maximize the chance that I’ll be able to “do the thing” when I’m feeling down. I also notice my face feels happier the less I use on it.
Trying to decide between using Olay 24 (recommended by a coworker and I see lots of good reviews on here) Vs The Ordinary (either the retinol in squalane or the retinoid emulsion).
Any advice or suggestions?
(Current routine: wash my face in the shower at night with Neutrogena Creamy Cleanser and moisturize with a store brand dupe for Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizer. Working on trying to do the same thing in the morning. I use SuperGoop sunscreen)
