TLDR: Needing recommendations on non-sleep hydration masks and Pore tightening products/masks.
So, I've finally gotten my acne under control as well as my skin picking for the most part. Now, I'm mostly dealing with acne scarring (I've got Curology to deal with that) and most importantly, huge pores that were apparently far more congested than I knew and dry skin at times. I've posted a shelfie recently and my curology team thought think I'm doing well, but, I'm looking for your personal recommendations for masks that are great for Pore cleansing and moisture. I've been looking at the Kiehl's Pore and hydration set as I currently love my ZitKillA Pore VAC mask, so my first priority is to find a good Hydrating mask (not a sleeping mask, though, as I move far too much and touch my face far too much in my sleep for it to stay on). Then, I'd like to find a Pore tightening mask.
I was really happy with Glow Recipe's Watermelon set, but I didn't feel that it was worth the price considering the toner has Pore clogging ingredients and I really prefer my CeraVe Hydrating Toner anyways.
Things I have tried and don't like:
Paula's Choice ABA BHA leave on (didn't notice any difference)
Bad Habit favorites collection including their acne charcoal mask
Peter Thompsons mini mask gift sets
Nuetragena hydroboost mask
CosRX snail mucin (both the thick pot one and the serum - this dried me out a ton)
There's a lot that I've tried, but I'm pretty happy with everything except needing to find new masks for me to rotate out (this is my one luxury thing in life lol).
Things I've considered:
Tatcha Pore mask
Glam glow Pore mud
Kiehls Pore and hydration set
Kiehks hydration set
Youth to the people Pore duo
I'm less oily now and live in the socal desert, so its dry and hot all the time. My skin is combination leaning more towards dry and acne prone but not very sensitive.
Please help, my friends!
