Hi guys, I went to a dermatologist a few weeks ago for a bad case of acne breakout on my chin and she prescribed a hydrocortisone cream for me to put on the pimples twice a day to calm them down.

I started getting some other breakouts as well and started putting it on them too but then I noticed I kept breaking out in the same spots where I put the cream and the number of pimples just keeps increasing as I put it more.

Could the hydrocortisone cream actually cause more acne? Please let me know if I should throw this cream away. Thank you.
