Hi guys,

I've started adapalene two weeks ago and as you can imagine, I'm purging like crazy now. Chin is my only problematic area but boy, is it problematic... Currently, I have 4 active inflamed acne and hyperpigmentation from a few old ones so it looks like a mess. I use BP as spot treatment on them in the morning.

My routine is:

PM - wash face with Bioderma Sebium gel moussant, wait 15 minutes to dry, use adapalene cream with pea size amount on the whole face (3 times a week), wait 30 minutes and apply Bioderma Sebium Sensitive cream in generous amount.

AM - wash face with water and spf 50 after

My question is this - I see that Dr Dray suggests using moisturizer first and then adapalene to lower the irritation but that does include the purging itself or just dry skin kind of irritation? If I switch my steps to moisturizer first and adaptable later, will my purge be less severe?

Thanks in advance and I guess I should trust the process?
