Have been lurking on this subreddit for a while now and finally decided that I would make a change for the better for my skin about 1-2 months ago. Got off of St. Ives and currently running some trials on what would be the best cleanser and moisturizer at the moment.

Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser - Dries my face out, then within a few hours, my face is really oily.

Cetaphil Daily Cleanser - Same reaction.

Cerave Daily Moisturizing Cream - Goes on okay and oily in a few hours.

I'm so sad that these products didn't work for me. If I don't use any cleanser, then my skin is the normal type to maybe combination. With these so far, is just insanely dry and oil.

Did anyone experience this when trying to figure out the skincare routine? Also, what should I try in place of them based on my skin reactions so far?
