After getting frustrated with a bunch of products only making me break out or redden like crazy, I'm considering the possibliity that I'm overcomplicating and have a very normal skin type, because my skin 'feels' the healthiest and most normal when it's naked- every moisturizer I've tried made me feel slimy, toners and exfolliants inflame me, the only thing that doesn't seem to hurt is cleanser. I wonder if this is the norm, a common trap people fall into? Or do other people's faces burn, itch, or get super oily without their routine?

If it matters I'm a guy so I don't wear makeup.
