I've pretty much always had dry skin but I think as I've got older I've noticed it more and more (I'm male, 37).
I pretty much have dry skin all over - my face, neck, chest, arms, legs etc. It's not like psoriasis - nothing is really bad or red or itchy. It's really just very tiny and usually if I slap on something thick moisturiser it's helps it go away for a bit.
I'm just wondering if dry skin all over your body is a common sign of a particular deficiency? I am a vegan (as of about 2 years ago) but I do consume a lot of vegetables and I drink water and I exercise and I'm really healthy but then I also get regular acne breakouts - so I wonder if it's all tied into the dry skin thing as well, despite exfoliating and moisturising.
Any thoughts?
