Im a 26 year old male interested in starting a skincare routine. I have gone through most of the content in the wiki, but as a man that has never ever used any kind of beatuy product, I find everything overwhelming
About myself: 26 year old, smoker (non tobacco), fit (either weights or cadio every day), working in an office environment. Have never used any skincare products. My skin is rather oily (of I wipe my face with a white paper towel Ill get it visibly stained). I do not have any specific issues (no acne or dry skin or anything else) but a few wrinkles and facial expression marks (smile a ot) but I believe all normal, and ofc do not use any make up. Some daily sun exposure when I walk my dog (sometimes twice; AM and PM) but never hits directly for prolonged times.
I want to build a routine, so please tell me if this is any good:
Ill start using face moisturizer and a face specific sunscreen (NIVEA if it matters; 50FPS, UVA/UVB), so I want to know of micellar water is enough of a cleanser for an oily skin profile than only uses this 2 products on a daily basis, or if I should incorporate an oily cleanser instead (Id rather only use one cleanser product, to keep things simple).
I also want to add some anti aging products: (retinol eye gel and retinol anti wrinkle facial serum), so, is it better to use these two products both AM and PM? or only once per day?
Another doubt is: when I shower in the mornings, should I use regular bar soap on my face as I have been doing my entire life? (no skin issues so far), or will using the designated face cleanser be enough to keep my face clean?
Thank you so much!
PD live in Mx so most brand products recommended are not sold here; We have Walmarts though lol idk if this info is useful.
