[Acne] Isopropyl Palmitate in moisturiser?

Hi, so I'm currently using Tret which I know should come with a purge. But I'm concerned about what's a purge or if I'm actually breaking out e.g. from my moisturiser.

When I started tret I switched to Cetaphil daily moisturising lotion - I have previously used Aveeno moisturising lotion for dry skin. I used this when I had CLEAR SKIN

My reason for switching is because I started breaking out again and hence went on tret. From research I see that Aveeno contains Isopropyl Palmitate which is apparently pore clogging. However, like I say I used this when I had clear skin. I know that the research on what is "pore clogging" and comodogencitity ratings have to be taken with a grain of salt.

However since I started breaking out again I'm wondering if maybe my skin became sensitised to the ingredients in the Aveeno?

I don't like the new Cetaphil moisturiser as it leaves a greasy film that doesn't sink in well. I also think Aveeno is tried and tested for me but now am worried about the Isopropyl Palmitate.

What should I do? I can tell what's purging vs breaking out :(
