For years I have been waiting for my face to be completely dry after cleansing to apply anti-acne products, but the other week I realized that the benzoyl peroxide and Retin-A I use pills after I apply moisturizer (yes, it took me years to realize that this may be a problem). So I decided to apply them when my face was still damp and it seems to have mostly prevented pilling. It's too early to declare it more effective at preventing acne than applying it dry but I have noticed a difference in the CC's around my chin, mouth and jawline. Most of them have turned into small, poppable and uncomplicated whiteheads.
Do you apply your acne products on wet or dry skin? Did you notice any difference if/when you switched from one to the other?
