I've been struggling with acne for a few years now- lots of whiteheads and CC's. I've used pretty much everything recommended- all the acids, prescription benzoyl peroxide, Retin-A, vitamin serums, a bunch of 'holy grail' cleansers and serums... literally no improvement.
A couple weeks ago I bought some cotton pads that physically exfoliate (they have some gritty stuff on one side) and my skin ever since has been great- acne is greatly diminished and it looks glowier than usual. I haven't had a breakout since and I usually get at least one/week.
Do you think there's any chance physical exfoliating is helping?
