Im really at a loss now. Im 21yo male, ive had acne for years but finally got rid of it this year with a good routine (salicylic wash 2x a day, benzoyl and azelaic acid). All of a sudden my acne flared up very suddenly on holiday. I dint know if this was unrelated, or was due to pool chlorine water/sun/sea etc

Either way its 3 months later and my skin is the worst its ever been. Because my skin didnt stop breaking out after i returned from holiday, I decided to change my routine and have now been used Differin for 5 weeks.

My skin is now worse even than when I started differin, so I went back to my GP (no dermatologist in UK), and have been given Epiduo which ive used for 4 nights so far.

I feel like my skin is just getting worse and worse, im beginning to wonder if all these products are making everything worse? Maybe its too much irritation? Or is it just the differin purge? Ive got cysts, and small red bumps which are unusual for me all over my cheeks and chin. My whole face is covered.

Then again maybe its fungal acne? I just dont know what to do. Maybe my skin would be better if i just stopped these products, if its a damaged moisture barrier. Then again theres no way I can tell, I dont know what to do anymore its just getting worse.

Any advice please? Thankyou
