I have been lurking here and reading up in others experience with certain brands.
I have developed some blemishing around my chin and sideburns. (Due to acne, shaving and nervous picking.) I never used any product on my face (cleanser, toner, sunscreen, nada!) until 2 years ago when I developed acne. I always had normal skin with an occasional zip or two, nothing severe. I noticed a huge change, became extremely insecure and decided to start taking care of my face.
Recently my skin has been dry on cheeks, eye lids and corner of lips. I am currently using The Ordinary The No-Brainer Set, some times the Orgin Checks and Balances Face Wash and Ginzing Moisturizer but I stopped using the Origins Face Wash due to the drying getting worse. I am using a small amount of Dr.Bronner's Hemp Rose Soap and it seemed to help it. I had a friend gift me Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner but I am not sure where to add it into my routine. If anyone can recommend a gentle cleanser that is moisturizing and any other products that can help clear off acne blemishes and discoloration?
Here is my routine!
AM
- Warm water with a small amount of Dr.Bronners Hemp Rose Soap and gently cleansed with Foreo Mini device
- The Ordinary "Buffet" Serum
- The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA or Origin Ginzing Moisturizer
- Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen SPF 50
PM
- Warm water and wiped face down with paper towel
- The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion
- The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors HA or Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptife Moisturizer
