I was wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on my skincare routine. It's weird because I was looking through old pictures and it seems like my skin was way better when all I used was a cleanser in the morning. I started to get breakouts and started using a lot more products, and I think it either hasn't helped or has made it worse somehow? I have some pictures here. Its probably not the worst skin in the world but I really wish it was better. I want to prevent breakouts and pimples, and fade the acne scars. I also have a lot of small bumps on my chin and forehead that I'm not sure about.
So my current routine is:
AM - neutrogena oil free acne wash - clean and clear deep cleaning toner - clean and clear dual action moisturizer - clinique acne solutions clearing gel - clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment
Midday - clinique rinse off foaming cleanser - cetaphil makeup remover, the same moisturizer
PM - neutrogena naturals purifying pore scrub - the same neutrogena acne wash and toner - burt's bees daily moisturizing lotion - cerave eye repair cream - clean and clear persa gel 10
The majority of these products have salicylic acid. I also occasionally use soft Nivea if my skin gets really dry, and I use the clean and clear cleansing clay mask once or twice a week. And I'm sort of poor so i can't afford super expensive products. I don't know that much about skincare so any advice would be appreciated. :)
