We talk a lot about how topicals affect our skin, but I’m wondering how foods and drinks affect our skin.
I thought about this because my boyfriend’s uncle was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live. It’s been almost two years and he’s still alive! As far as I know, all he’s been doing is eating really well. It just makes me think about how what we put into our bodies really affects our overall health.
I have heard spearmint tea is good for hormonal acne. What else? I’ll take anecdotal evidence as well, I just want to start a discussion :)
I’d prefer to learn about foods and drinks as opposed to supplements. But if there are any supplements you know are good for skin feel free to mention them and maybe we can find some foods that contain those.
