[Personal] Been on here over 2 years, still trying to find a good routine

I've been on this sub for a little over 2 years, and whilst I've found some products I like in some respects, there is always an issue my skin has with them.

I basically don't have any products that my skin responds well to.

Every cleanser I've tried has been drying (yes, including oil cleansers!) but as I don't have anything to compare it to I've just slowly been getting less and less drying cleansers without realising they are still drying (if that makes sense?)

Any moisturiser that felt nice on my skin and seemed to keep it moisturised throughout the day would break me out. Every other one would have a new irritating ingredient I hadn't read about yet that I wouldn't realise was irritating my skin because I'm so used to my skin being itchy.

My skin is super sensitive to sun damage and I have really bad sun-spots (my face looks dirty.) I realised my skin can only handle mineral sunscreens sensitivity wise, but I feel really bad about the appearance of my skin and will only get out the intense white-cast minerals ones for the beach, so atm I've been using a chemical mineral mix which mildly irritates me.

It's just really stressful as I have all these skin issues that just feel like they are getting worse but I know how to start trying to treat them, I just don't have a steady routine so I can't introduce anything new.

I have new things coming in the mail and I guess I just have to exercise some more patience, it's just disheartening when I read/hear about other people who change one thing in their skincare ie. to a gentle cleanser and their skin clears up.

I have rosacea so it's likely my skin won't even clear up but at least I could deal with the giant pores or the SF grains all over my T zone or the sun spots. Idk I just wish my face looked nicer, I would feel so much better about my appearance.

I can't even find makeup to cover it because it all seems to irritate me or break me out or just break up at 2pm and leave me looking worse than I do without makeup.

Idk if I'm looking for advice or just needed to vent - I have pms and I'm feeling so shitty about my looks rn, and also I feel like I've put so much time and effort into this whole skincare journey and nothing good is happening.

And it's not that I'm using too many products or different products. I used to not do any skincare years ago and my skin was similar. I introduce all my products at least a month apart. I don't eat dairy. I took fish oil tablets for 6 months and nothing changed. I take zinc now.

On another note, is there something wrong if water dries out my skin? This includes water in my city (pH around 6, not considered hard water) and rainwater from my farm.

Sorry for being a whiny baby y'all, I really love this space and all the knowledge I've acquired I just sometimes look at my skin and wonder what it's all for?
