I've been having breakouts near my jawline and hairline ever since I started my new job. We work the metal parts, and they're covered in grease, which gets all over my face. The first couple of weeks, I followed my usual skincare routine, which is Clean and Clear for a wash, then Clearasil lotion with salycilic acid, and Neutrogena skin clearing foundation. The past couple of weeks, I've skipped the foundation and just went with the lotion. Am I better off using the foundation? Does it provide a barrier against the grease? Also, would adding primer to my routine help? My skin is pretty normal, I used to get the occasional acne every now and then, but it's exploded all over my face now! Also, (I know, I know) I have a really bad habit of falling asleep before I've washed my face, but when I get home, I'll use a makeup removing cloth and Etude House Wonder Pore toner. Any suggestions and product recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
