I've been looking into more natural deodorants and ones that don't have aluminum. I started using one called Schmidt's. After a while I started to develop irritation under my arms (small itchy somewhat painful bumps.) I looked on amazon and it turns out others have been having the same/similar reactions (some are a lot worse.) What could be causing this? Possible baking soda or too much essential oils? I was using another one that I think had baking soda and definitely had essential oils, but I don't think I got the same reaction.

Does anyone have any deodorant recommendations?

Here's the one I was using but the Lavender and Sage scent https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KNA73VU?psc=1
