So I was one of the [many] people banned by /u/ieatbugs for diasgreeing with them, and for the longest time I was really sad that I wasn't allowed to be a part of a community with such similar interests simply because the mod didn't like people disagreeing with them.

Background: I was a part of the community ~2 years back, and around the time there was the "natural vs synthetic" debate I made a post that said "whether you like natural products or synthetic products, if it works for you and the science supports it, who is to say your individual choice is wrong?"

/u/ieatbugs banned me for "spamming" (oh the irony), and has gone around to any post referencing me and told everyone that I was a spammer.

Which is really sad because I love the discussions that take place here and many times I tried to hit "reply" only to remember I couldn't.

Flash forward to this morning when my SO tells me about everything that unfolded the day prior. I literally leapt out of bed and messaged the mods asking to have my ban lifted, half hoping they would and half understanding why they might not even reply.

Well less than 5 minutes later I received a super nice reply and now I'm here and able to talk to everyone!

So to the mods, thank you! You're awesome!!!

And to the community, it's good to be back =D
