Oil recommendations for ruddy-toned middle-aged skin?
Post Body

I'm looking at one for, like, morning moisturizing when I want to try something different from Cerave. My skin is pale, leaning towards redness (may be in the early stages of rosacea; my doc and I aren't sure), large pores/acne scars, tretinoin-treated. Skin tone still appears really uneven in spite of the tretinoin, but I've only been on it for a few months. It used to be oily but with the tretinoin it's basically normal to a little dry. I also think I have PIH that takes forever to go away — there are a good number of red spots. Oh, and lupus, but I don't get a butterfly rash and it doesn't affect my skin that I know of.

So yeah, if your oil can magically treat all of that, that'd be great. Insert officespace.jpg that I'm too lazy to make.

TLDR for what would be nice to address with the oil:

  • PIH
  • ruddy skin tone
  • large pores
  • uneven skin tone
  • possible mild rosacea
  • le aging (sorry; couldn't help it)
  • I see now a lot of these are probably the same kind of thing

Ones I've read about and for some reason put in an Evernote file below. I basically can't choose one. So you choose for me.

  • argan
  • meadowfoam
  • tamanu
  • rosehip
  • neem
  • sweet almond oil
  • sea buckthorn
  • camellia
  • hemp
  • carrot
  • hazelnut
  • perilla
  • passion fruit seed
  • avocado
  • evening primrose

I've used jojoba and apricot kernel. I like them just fine, but as I need to round out an order, I'd like to order me one of them fancier oils.
