I know my routine is excessive and it’s probably doing more harm than good. The process is what matters to me though. I’m SEVERELY mentally ill and I find that my routine is my catharsis everyday. There are some positive benefits and I do look and feel better when I do it rather than when I don’t. And I know it’s neurotic. I keep a laminated checklist in my medicine cabinet and taped to my shower wall so I don’t miss steps.

I’m curious if other people find the process of doing the self-care fun or is it more the results you like? Does your routine require a few products or a lot?
