This website many people here are recommending ( https://simpleskincarescience.com/pityrosporum-folliculitis-treatment-malassezia-cure/)

Even recommends Nizoral but says it does have ingredients known to make FA worse. I put the ingredients through a checker and it looks like Glycol Distearate is the culprit. Why is Nizoral recommend so much if it has this ingredient that makes FA worse?

Is there an alternative? Can I use miconazole nitrate cream that's usually used for ringworm and athlete's foot? I can't find ketoconazole cream.
