Hi all,

I need your help. I’m 32F with dry, very sensitive, eczema-prone skin with mild acne. I’ve been trying to use Differin for months, stopping and restarting but my skin freaks out every time and I get an eczema outbreak as well as dehydration. I never tried to use Differin more often than every 2-3 days.

Does anyone have any ideas for a gentler Retinoid than Differin that treats acne? Fine lines are also a consideration but not my primary concern.

I only wash my face once a day because my skin can’t handle more than that. Here’s my routine:

A.M.

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen

P.M.

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser

Clindamycin

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum

Biossance Squalane Omega Repair Deep Hydration Moisturizer

I appreciate any suggestions/input! I’m trying to avoid chemical exfoliants and benzoyl peroxide for the time being.
