As I approach 30 my pimples seem to have a weird "life cycle" [Acne]

It’s weird, my pimples will show up and just…hang out? They don’t come to a head, they don’t get worse or better, they just stay. It’s not cystic acne, which I feel like tends to stick around for longer. It’s usually a medium sized bump that will maybe start out painful, but will then calm down and never really come to a head, but never really seems to go away either. It’s so annoying , and I’ll often mess with it out of frustration, which inevitably makes it look worse but changes nothing.

Admittedly I’m pretty inconsistent with my skincare routine, but when I’m on top of it I usually do:

Cetaphil daily moisturizer with 50 spf in the morning

And in the evening: Cetaphil cleanser, 10% glycolic acid L’Oréal revitalist serum, Pond’s clearant b3, Seagull vitamin c cream, Cerave night time moisturizer

Any advice/insight/commiserating appreciated
